We separate what we have measured, what manufacturers claim, and what we still need to verify.
How products enter a comparison
We begin with a use case, not a commission opportunity. Candidate products must plausibly solve the same problem and be available to the intended reader. We record the source and date for changing specifications.
What we measure
Depending on the category, we record dimensions, weight, capacity with representative keys, attachment security, setup time, hardware loosening, pocket comfort, battery access, and visible wear. We explain the procedure so readers can reproduce useful checks.
How recommendations work
There are no paid positions. Affiliate relationships do not determine rank. A product may be excluded when essential specifications cannot be verified or when its marketing encourages unsafe use.
Research-only content
Some early guides are based on documented specifications and general decision criteria rather than hands-on product testing. Those pages are labeled through their wording and do not claim personal experience.
